The Accomodation

The vacation apartments are located in a quiet area of Gersfeld.

Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance in the village of Gersfeld.

The Rhoen mountains are well known for outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. You can visit a famous gliding and para-gliding area just 10km away on the Wasserkuppe, in addition to taking a ride on a 480m sledding track. Winter in the Rhoen offers excellent cross-country skiing opportunities as well as several down hill ski areas.

The Rhoen has a rich history, which you can explore from many perspectives, including the Kreuzberg monastery, the cathedral in Fulda, an open air museum in Tann and Point Alpha. (For more information see the links section.)
